Would you like to learn how to make your own lampshades? Our lampshade making workshop is perfect for a creative treat or chance to meet up with friends and make something beautiful for your home at the same time! The course will take place in our shop front in the small town of Bovey Tracey on the edge of beautiful Dartmoor.
Just select your course date and time from the list. Or choose a voucher for a future date of your choice. The course is suitable for all levels of competency and there is no sewing required, Rachael will guide the small group of students through the steps and in such a small group, you will get undivided attention. The course will last for approximately 3 hours and will include some light refreshments.
Join us for a class where Rachael will teach you how to make your own beautiful drum lampshade. During this intimate session of just four people, you will learn how to make a 20cm or 30cm diameter shade in a choice of beautiful fabrics (or you can bring your own!).
Rachael will expertly guide you through the necessary steps and you will finish with a real sense of achievement as well as a striking lampshade! All materials are provided, though you are welcome to bring your own fabric (please contact us for measurements).
Extra components will also be available to purchase should you be bitten by the lampshade bug and want to continue making at home!

Places are non-refundable if cancelled within 7 days of the course running. We reserve the right to cancel the course if sufficient numbers are not taken up. We will give at least 2 days prior notice if this is the case. We will refund the cost if we can not move you to an agreeable alternative date.
